The seat will fit on all canoes and  the gunwale clamps  lock the seat in place.  Clamps work on most canoes except ones that only have outer lips, such as Coleman or Pelican canoes,  The seat will work on Coleman and Pelican Canoes, but the clamps will not be used on those models.  

    Add that center seat to your canoe. Sits on gunwale lips - has clamps to lock in place.   Also Available for Wider than 38" or Narrower than 32" Canoes.  Specify model/type & maximum width of your canoe.  

The Eathafoam Pad is Firm, yet comfortable.  The Eathafoam has give and can be compressed using the pressure of your fingers.
